What is PTD-DBM?
PTD-DBM is a cell-penetrating peptide construct combining a Protein Transduction Domain (PTD) and a Dvl-binding motif (DBM). It blocks the inhibitory CXXC5–Dishevelled interaction, restoring Wnt/β-catenin signalling. Studied for dermal papilla cell activation, hair follicle neogenesis, and wound healing. Research use only.
Research Applications
Wnt/β-Catenin Pathway Research
β-catenin nuclear translocation, TCF/LEF reporter assays, pathway activation
Hair Follicle Regeneration
Dermal papilla cell proliferation, anagen induction, follicle neogenesis models
Skin Wound Healing
Keratinocyte re-epithelialisation, fibroblast migration, ECM deposition
CXXC5 Biology
Wnt suppressor interaction, negative feedback loop, Dkk1 regulation
Cell-Penetrating Peptide Research
PTD transduction efficiency, intracellular delivery, nuclear targeting
