What is PE-22-28?
PE-22-28 is a short synthetic peptide fragment derived from prelamin A targeting the progerin protein. Progerin is a mutant form of lamin A associated with Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria Syndrome (HGPS) and certain age-related cellular defects.
PE-22-28 has been studied for its potential to inhibit progerin-induced nuclear abnormalities, restore normal cellular architecture, and improve markers of cellular aging.
