What is Crystagen??
Crystagen (peptide complex AC-5/AC-6, amino acids Pro-Glu-Asp) is a synthetic short-peptide bioregulator from the Khavinson Cytogen family, developed at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology for immune system restoration. It exhibits selective action on thymus tissue – improving thymic metabolism and tissue regeneration to restore T-cell synthesis, maturation and release. Unlike Vladonix (natural thymus extract), Crystagen as a Cytogen acts faster but with shorter duration. Research demonstrates Crystagen activates B-cell immune pathways in the spleen, increases CD3+/CD4+ T-cell counts, normalises CD4+/CD8+ ratios, preserves thymic cortex-medulla architecture, stimulates thymocyte proliferation (PCNA expression), and exhibits immunogeroprotective effects in gamma-irradiation accelerated ageing models.
