What is BPC-157??
BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157, CAS 137525-51-0) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide (15 amino acids: Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val) derived from a protective protein isolated from human gastric juice. Molecular formula C₆₂H₉₈N₁₆O₂₂, MW 1419.53 g/mol. BPC-157 activates VEGFR2, FAK-paxillin, JAK2, Egr-1, and ERK1/2 pathways — stimulating angiogenesis, fibroblast migration, and tissue matrix remodelling. It is notably stable in human gastric juice for over 24 hours and effective across sc, im, iv, and oral routes in preclinical models.
