What is Pinealon 20mg?
Pinealon (Ala-Glu-Asp, or EDR in reverse notation) is a synthetic tripeptide bioregulator derived from the pineal gland, developed as part of the Russian peptide bioregulator research program. Peptide bioregulators are short peptides (2-4 AA) designed to restore organ-specific gene expression patterns — Pinealon targets CNS and pineal gland function. Research shows Pinealon reduces neuronal apoptosis, modulates melatonin synthesis pathways, and exhibits neuroprotective activity in oxidative stress and ischaemia models. Part of the same bioregulator family as Epithalon (pineal), Thymalin (thymus), and Cortexin (brain cortex).
Research Applications
Neuroprotection Research
Pinealon reduces neuronal apoptosis in oxidative stress and ischaemia models via anti-apoptotic gene expression modulation. Primary neuronal culture and rodent CNS ischaemia models.
Pineal Gland Biology & Melatonin Research
Bioregulator targeting of pineal-specific gene expression — relevant to melatonin synthesis pathway research, circadian biology, and pineal gland function studies.
Longevity & CNS Ageing
Peptide bioregulators are studied in the context of ageing-associated decline in organ-specific function. Pinealon research asks: can pineal-derived bioregulator restore CNS function metrics in aged models?
