What is Andarine (S4)?
Andarine (S4) is a nonsteroidal SARM with partial AR agonist activity. Originally developed by GTx as a prostate-targeted androgen. Partial agonist profile produces anabolic activity in muscle and bone with lower full-agonist efficacy than testosterone. Notable for its partial agonism mechanism and visual side effect profile (retina AR binding) at high doses, making it a useful model compound for SARM partial agonism and tissue selectivity research.
