What is Fenbendazole?
Fenbendazole is a broad-spectrum benzimidazole antiparasitic that binds β-tubulin and disrupts microtubule polymerisation. Additionally studied for antiproliferative effects in cancer: G2/M arrest, p53 pathway activation, and GLUT transporter downregulation. Bulk powder for large-scale microtubule and antiproliferative research. Research use only.
Research Applications
Microtubule Disruption
β-tubulin binding, polymerisation inhibition, mitotic spindle checkpoint
Cancer Cell Research
G2/M arrest, apoptosis, p53 pathway — large-scale cell line studies
Glucose Metabolism
GLUT transporter downregulation, glycolysis disruption, Warburg effect
Antiparasitic Mechanism
Nematode tubulin binding kinetics, GluCl comparison, spectrum of activity
Drug Combination Research
Fenbendazole + chemotherapy sensitisation at bulk research scale
