What is TB-500??

TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4, Tβ4, CAS 77591-33-4) is a synthetic version of the endogenous 43-amino acid actin-sequestering peptide present in virtually all mammalian cells. Molecular formula C₂₁₂H₃₅₀N₅₆O₇₈S, MW 4963.5 g/mol. Tβ4 promotes actin polymerisation dynamics critical to cell migration and wound closure, upregulates matrix metalloproteinases, stimulates angiogenesis via VEGF/SDF-1 pathway upregulation, and has anti-inflammatory activity through NF-κB and actin-MRTF-SRF pathway modulation.
