What is FOXO4-DRI?
FOXO4-DRI (FOXO4-p53 interaction inhibitor — senolytic D-peptide) is a 18-amino acid retro-inverso D-amino acid peptide. Retro-inverso D-peptide disrupting the FOXO4-p53 protein-protein interaction in senescent cells, enabling p53 nuclear export and intrinsic apoptosis specifically in p21-high senescent cells. Spares normal proliferating and quiescent cells — selective senolytic without systemic toxicity in mouse models.
