What is DSIP?
DSIP (Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide (nonapeptide)) is a 9-amino acid synthetic nonapeptide. Nonapeptide originally isolated from rabbit cerebral venous blood during sleep. Modulates sleep architecture by promoting delta wave (slow-wave) activity, interacts with opioid receptors and stress response systems, and demonstrates antioxidant activity in some models. Full mechanistic pathway incompletely characterised.
